Street, Buchanan, died at 3
p.m. Friday, shortly after
being admitted to Pawating
hospital in Niles. He was
owner and operator of Batchelor's
T V and Record Center.
He was born Sept 26, 1906 in Buchanan,
and had been a lifelong resident here.
He married Marjorie Mae Kool in
Buchanan on June 30, 1929.
His wife survives as do three sons,
William H. of Stuart, Fla., and
Brent S. and Douglas, both of
Buchanan, a foster daughter
Mrs. Lene (Patricia) Mollberg
of Buchanan, a half-brother
Lowell Batchelor of Greenville,
N.C., two half-sisters, Mrs.
Mildred Russell of Buchanan, and
Mrs. A. W. (Ruth) Bowie of Fort
Lauderdale, Fla., and five
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at
1:30 p.m. Monday in the Swem
Chapel of the Swem-Smith Funeral
Home, Buchanan. The Rev. Joe R.
Johnson of the Church of Christ-
Christian of Niles will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakridge cemetery.
Friends may call at the Swem-Smith
Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
