Judith Mace Wednesday, 07 June 2006 Judith Lynn Mace went home to be with her Lord on May 26.
Funeral service will be held at Colville Assembly of God Church on June 12 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor David Forsberg will officiate.
The family requests that any donations be made to Stevens County 4-H, WSU Cooperative Extension: Gordon Mace Scholarship Program.
She was born Sept. 26, 1940 to Tom and Ruth Hammond.
She attended Lake Ellen Grade School and graduated with honors from Kettle Falls High School in 1958. Judy worked for Harold Mace as a nanny for two years before they were married in 1961.
She and her family lived in Orient until 1978. They then moved to Colville below Old Dominion Mt.
Mrs. Mace is in the 4-H Hall of Fame for 50 years of service. She had a passion for children and loved to teach. She faithfully taught Royal Rangers and Sunday School in her local church.
Judy was preceded in death by her son, Gordon.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; her sons, Ronald, Edward, David and Lawrence Mace, and by her daughter, Marilyn Harnasch; her brothers, Mike and Pat Hammond, sisters Polly Weimer, Janell Simmons, and Julia Lee Nilles.
