Neil was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, AMVETS, Disabled American Veterans and Military Order of the Cooties as well as a friend to numerous other veteran and military organizations.
Neil retired as an installer from Western Electric and spent countless hours volunteering for the Veterans Administration Hospital. Neil and Barbara started a nonprofit organization for veterans, Veterans Service Association, Inc. VSAI.
Connie was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Anne; brothers: Joseph, Robert, and Peter; sisters, Hope and Joan (Patsy).
He is survived by his children: Mark Wayne Dora, Evelyn Louise Bersack (Stephen), Sherri Anne Dora, Diane Leigh Dora, Paula Joanne Rodriguez (Raul), Joseph Paul Dora and James Justin Dora (Denise); grandchildren: Michael Dora (Rhoanne), Samantha Bersack, Anthony Rodriguez, Branden Dora, Dylan Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, Stephanie Bersack Adams (James); his brother, Raymond; sisters, Judith and Martha and numerous other family and friends.
