Wayne Harper age 80 of McLain, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at his home. He was retired teamster of local 89 and loved to hunt, fish and garden.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Kelly Harper and Florence Mae Goodhue Harper, a daughter, Patricia Way, 3 brothers, Dorsey Bradley Harper, Bobby Gene Harper, William Burton "Billy" Harper and 1 sister, Rachel Naomi Harper.

Survivors include 3 sons, Mark Harper and wife Karen of Ft. Myers, Florida, Jim Harper and wife Susie of Ft. Myers, Florida and Kenny Harper and wife Melinda of Louisville, Kentucky, 2 daughters, Rita Harper of Louisville and Mary Catherine Melton and husband Joe of Louisville, Kentucky, 2 brothers, Walter Kelly Harper of Cave City, Kentucky and Ralph Terry Harper of Saratoga, Wyoming and thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Harper Cemetery in Horse Cave. Visitation 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 8:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
