Irene De Yager, 11 year old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Sam De Yager of Hudson, died last Friday in the Hawarden hospital.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Christian Reformed Church in Hawarden with Rev. J. Cupido officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Frazier Funeral Home.

Irene was born November 12, 1940, at Fairview, SD. She moved to the Hudson vicinity with her parents seven years ago. She attended the Christian Reformed school at Lebanon and was in the sixth grade. She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church of Hawarden.

Besides her parents she is survived by four brothers, Garrett, Albert and William of Hawarden and Sam, Jr. at home; one sister, Mrs. Tracy Byker of Hawarden; her grandfather, Albert Gerritsen of Rock Valley and her grandmother, Mrs. Tillie Katje of Artesia, CA.
