Hazel M. Crouse, 80, North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia, formerly of North Brookfield, died July 4, 1995, in the home. Born at East Clifford, she was a daughter of the late Sanford and Nellie (Kaulback) Crouse. She was a member of North Brookfield United Baptist Church and the Women's Institute.She taught Sunday School at the church for many years. She was co-owner of Enos Crouse Electrical and Groceries, North Brookfield. Surviving are daughters, Evelyn, Owen Sound, Ontario; Mrs. Sadie Anderson, Arnprior, Ontario; Catherine (Mrs. Barry Mariott), Lower Sackville; son, Rodney, North Brookfield; sisters, Ila (Mrs. John Veinot), Hemford; Laura (Mrs. Robert Frail), Helen (Mrs. Elbert Fancy), Westfield; brothers, Leo, Earl, North Brookfield; five grandchildren; a great grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Enos L.; son, LeRoy L.; sister, Viola; brother, Laurie; a step-grandson. Visitation 7-9 .m. Thursday in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral 4 p.m. Friday in North Brookfield United Baptist Church, Pastor Hank Dixon officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield. Family flowers only. Donations to IWK Children's Hospital, North Queens Nursing Home or North Brookfield United Baptist Church.
