Ronald Wayne "Ronnie/Ron" Ricketts, 70, the son of the late Reverend Leonard Isaiah & Virgie Lucile Shook Ricketts was born on February 4, 1944 in Midway, Arkansas and passed away on April 18, 2014 in Watervliet, Michigan.
Ronnie worked for Hy Firehammer, Goldblatt's Tire Center, Michigan Fruit Canners and the Watervliet Paper Company, Watervliet, Michigan where he retired in 1994 after 30 years of service.
Ronnie married on October 12, 1962 to Martha Rutherford and to this union a daughter, Connie Fay Ricketts was born.
Ronnie later married Teresa Diane Mundt on October 15, 1994 in Riverside, Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Mundt Ricketts of Watervliet, Michigan; daughter, Connie Ricketts of Stevensville; granddaughter, Heather Tysman (Nick) Nation of Charlotte, Michigan; grandson, Brandon Tysman of Eau Claire, Michigan; three great-grandchildren; Step daughters, Sandy Stair Morris & Linda Stair Taylor of Coloma, Michigan; brothers, Leland (Linda) Ricketts of Bangor, Michigan, James (Ruth Ann) Ricketts of Walhalla, Michigan; William (Cathy) Ricketts, of Zeeland, Michigan; sister, Judy (Wayne) Woolum; Aunts, Uncle, cousins and other relatives.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. L. I. Ricketts and Lucile Shook Ricketts; his Ricketts and Shook grandparents; Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Visitation from 12 to 2 will be held on April 22, 2014 at the Duffield-Pastrick Funeral Home in Coloma, Michigan. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor David Haase of Watervliet, Michigan.
Interment will be at Millburg Cemetery, Millburg, Michigan.
