James E. Fair, 88, formerly of New Oxford, died Friday, Mar. 2, at the Brethren Home, New Oxford.
Born in Anne Arundel County, Md., he was the son of the late Ervin and Ella E. (Valentine) Fair.
He was a member of St. John's United Church oc Christ, New Chester.
Surviving are one daughter, Doris J. Sponseller of Fredericksburg, Va., and on grandson.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford with his pastor, the Rev. Douglas Hahn, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
