"Mrs. Vallie V. Brown, 61, wife of Lloyd A. Brown, Moulstown, Hanover Route 3, died Monday at 4 a.m. at her home. A native of Carroll County, Maryland, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Ervin and Ella Valentine Fair. She was a member of Hanover Gospel Tabernacle. Surviving besides her husband are: Three children, Cletus and Clair Brown, both of Hanover Route 3, and Mrs. George Meckley, Hanover; two grandchildren, and two brothers, James Fair, New Oxford Route 1, and Maurice Fair, Hanover. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Hanover Gospel Tabernacle. Her pastor, Rev. Ralph E. Rudisill, officiated. Interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover."
