Courtney H. Brewer, 71, of Orem, died August 10, 1990, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, from a short illness following surgery.

He was born January 7, 1919, a son of John W. and Bertha Arnell Brewer in St. Charles, Idaho. He married Ruth Marshall October 14, 1949, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Survivors include his wife of Orem, three sons and two daughters, Lane Brewer of Orem, Bradd Brewer of West Jordan, Todd Brewer of Orem, Diane Wamsley of Pasco, Washington, Pamela Speth of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, one brother and one sister, Harold Brewer of Brigham City, and LaPriel Thornock.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sharon Stake Center 800 East 600 South in Orem. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, in Orem, and also one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the stake center. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.

Cemetery records indicate that he is buried in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Sandy, Utah rather than in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery (as indicated in the obituary) which is in Salt Lake City, Utah.
