The funeral of Dr. Robert S. Stahle, 59 years old, a prominent physician of this county, who died at his residence at New Market last Friday morning at 3:37 o'clock, was held from the home yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. Death followed an illness covering a period of years and was due to dropsy and yellow jaundice. Dr. Stahle had retired from active practice about 2 years ago on account of ill health. After the service at the residence, the body was brought to this city where further services were held in Hartman Memorial Chapel, Prospect Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Samuel E. Herring, of this city, and the Rev. Mr. Wolf, pastor of the Lutheran Church at New Market, were the officiating ministers.Interment was made in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
