Graveside services for Robert Eugene Auttonberry, age 79 of Clarks, LA will be held at 2 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Mr. Auttonberry was born in Clarks, LA on March 3, 1935 to the union of Gene and Mary Ellen Fore Auttonberry and passed from this life on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA.
Robert retired as a truck driver with LaDOTD. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his early life until his health started to fail. He currently was an avid squirrel and bird feeder and watcher. He graduated from and played football for Clarks High School. He was a wonderful uncle and much loved by all his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Esley Auttonberry, Sr., Curtis Auttonberry and Calvin Auttonberry and two sisters: Sudie Bratton and Ludie Cooper.
Survivors include his seven nieces and nephews: Bo and Jackie Auttonberry, Mike and Naomi Auttonberry, Delores Rabb, Debbie and Jim Malone, Becky Auttonberry, Terry Bratton and Donald and Gail Cooper; seventeen great-nieces and great-nephews; twenty six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; lifelong family friend, Kirby Allen and friend and neighbor, Allen Guinn.
Pallbearers will be Mike Auttonberry, Mike Auttonberry, II, Bo Auttonberry, Toby Auttonberry, Donald Cooper and Terry Bratton.
