Funeral services for Mr. Calvin "Britches" Auttonberry, 73, of Clarks, were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 1997 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jim Malone officiating. Interment followed in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

He was born in Clarks on November 7, 1924 to the union of E. G. and Mary Fore Auttonberry, and died Monday, December 29, 1997 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Columbia.

Mr. Auttonberry was a retired operator with Louisiana-Pacific Corporation and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: two brothers, Esley Auttonberry of West Monroe and Robert Auttonberry of Clarks; two sisters, Sudie Bratton and Ludie Cooper, both of West Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.
