Funeral Held Here for Mrs. Paul Lewis
Leaves Husband, Four Children, Aged Parents and Brothers and Sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Paul Lewis were held at the Gill funeral home here Thursday afternoon. In charge of the Rev. Robert James Watson. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery later.

Leona Bernice, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Turner, was born in Manchester, March 5, 1905. She grew to womanhood here and was united in marriage with Paul E. Lewis Feb. 25, 1925.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by the husband, four children: Paul Everett, Betty Leona, Robert Charles and Carol Yvonne, all at home in Cedar Rapids; her aged parents, of Manchester; and the following sisters and brother; Mrs. Clifford Beall, of Marion; Mrs. Ada Kelley, Manchester; Mrs. Floyd Noyes, Dubuque; Beryl Turner, Palisades, Colo.; Jany and Walter Turner, of Strawberry Point; and Leslie Turner of Manchester.

The death of Mrs. Lewis brings a peculiar sadness to the home. It takes a mother, whose kindly ministrations to the children has been taken from them, and places that burden upon the grief stricken husband.

The husband and children and others attached to Mrs. Lewis by family ties, have the profound sympathy of many friends.
