Obituary:

Elizabeth Rockwell was born January 14, 1853, in Pike County, Ohio, and departed this life May 30 1923 at her home in Seymour, Iowa, aged 70 years, 4 months and 16 days.

In the year 1850, when but a child, she came with her parents to Wayne County, where she has since made her home.

She was united in marriage July 28, 1872, to Malcom S. Andrews, who preceded her in death August 21, 1918. To this union was born five sons: Alva A., Silas F., Lyman G., Ezra O., and Zara B.

Three of these have passed on before her, Silas F. and Ezra O., dying in infancy and Zara B departed this life on Dec 2, 1918.

She was a kind and loving mother.

Besides her two sons, Alva A. and Lyman G., she leaves to mourn her departure, ten grandchildren, five sisters and three brothers and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Pleasant View, Friday, June 1, conducted by Rev. J. F. Bingaman. Interment in Pleasant View.
