Nat Hill, age 71 of Bakersville, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 in the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital.


He was the son of the late Jess and Dora Clark Hill.


Nat was a carpenter and a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.


He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lillie English; brother, Earl Hill and a nephew, Eddie English.


Survivors include two daughters: Juanita Hill of Burnsville and Tammy Mullins of Hampton, TN; son, Charley Hill of Bakersville; sister, Mattie Street of Bakersville; brother, J.D. Hill of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren: Natasha Mosley, Michelle M. Ray, Amber Bennett, Tabatha Dowell, Dustin Williams and Grace Hill; great grandchildren: Kellie Byrd, Taton Ray, Landon Penley, Josha Young, Eli Culler, Ariana Bennett, Venny Williams and Dawson Ray; and Nat's best friend, a tea cup Chihuahua named Daisy May.


Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Thursday, April 10, 2014 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Randy English and G.B. Garland officiating. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.
