On Sunday morning May 20 she had a stroke and never regained consciousness.
She was known to a large circle of acquaintances as "Aunt Sally Culp". She reached the good age of 83 years, 7 months.
Aunt Sally had befriended many who came to her from far and near suffering with pain from burns and the like.
The funeral was on Thursday, Rev. Dr. J.A. Clutz conducting services, interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
Her husband died 20 years ago. She leaves three sons and two daughters, Charles of town, Frank of near Arendtsville and John, who attended the funeral, Mrs. Mary Jane Shreads and Mrs. Sallie Marsden in the West.
