Death of Arthur Oldfield
Arthur L. Oldfield, well known in Nevada, where he had spent great part of his life, died Saturday at Adel, where he had been living for the past year, the cause of his death being blood-poison as the result of an injury. He was a son of Amos Oldfield, long a resident of Nevada, and previous to his removal to Adel he was employed here at the tile factory. He was brought here for burial Monday and his funeral was conducted that afternoon from the Friends Church by Rev. Birdie V. Bachelor. He leaves a wife, formerly Miss Sloan of Marshall county, but no children. He was twenty nine years of age, and was a worthy and industrious young man.
