Francis was originally buried in Restland. There was a cedar tree planted by the family on his grave. Some time in the 60's the town of Bamberg cut down the cedar tree to use as the town Christmas tree. Francis' sisters Gertrude and Lois were put out about that. They later had him moved to South End to the Moody plot with his parents and sisters.
