Donald Reed Baack was born April 6, 1955 in Seward Nebraska, the son of Victor William and Ina Jean (Wolvin) Baack and passed away on April 2, 2014 at the age of 58 years, 11 months, and 27 days. Don was baptized on May 1, 1955 and was confirmed both at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, rural Staplehurst. Don was a 1973 graduate of Seward High School. Don was united in marriage in April of 73, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and was blessed with one daughter. Don was employed with Hicks Electric and then had his own busineses, Don Baack Electric. Currently he was employed with Huffman Engineering in Lincoln where he had worked for seven years. Don was a member of the City and County Planning Commission for Seward.
Don is preceded in death by his father, Victor Baack; his step-father, Herman Fehlhafer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Les and Dorothy Viets; and step-brothers, Robert Fehlhafer and Wayne Fehlhafer.
