"Deaths and Funerals. Mrs. Dorothy Waters. Mrs. Dorothy Waters, 57, of Milford, wife of Fay Waters, died at Hansen Rest Home this morning. She had been an invalid for the past eight years.
Mrs. Waters, was born August 30, 1898, daughter of the late Dion Denver, Sr., and Mrs. Denver, well-known Geary county residents. She had lived in the Milford community all her life. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Milford.
She was married to Fay Waters December 24, 1916. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Lawrence D. Waters and Dale E. Waters, both of Wichita, and Phyllis Jean, of the home; six grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. D. D. Denver, Sr., of Milford; one sister, Mrs. Richard N. Smith, Junction City; and five brothers, D. D. Denver, Jr., of St. Joseph, Missouri; Lyman Denver, Wakefield; Richard E. Denver, Alaska; Kenneth Denver, Wichita, and Gerald Denver, Milford."
