Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur (Nora) Knapp, 83, will be held today October 12, at 2 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Binford. Mrs. Knapp died October 6 in the hospital here.

Nora Koloen was born March 14, 1900 in Binford, daughter of the late Sever and Anne Koloen. She grew up in the Binford area and attended rural school there. She was married to Arthur C. Knapp March 5, 1920 in East Grand Forks. They farmed in the Binford community until 1963 when they retired and moved into Binford. He died in 1980. A son, Clifford, and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Knapp is survived by one son, Donald, Binford; two daughters, Mrs. Manley (Florence) Suess, Binford, Mrs. Wallace (Blanche) Larson, Puyallup, Washington; five sisters, Auga King, Fargo; Hazel Larson, McVille, Evelyn Olson, Van Nuys, California, Cora Hoffmeyer, Cooperstown, and Helen Bakken, Binford; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
