Arthur C. Knapp, 82, died June 15 in the nursing home in McVille.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Binford.
Mr. Knapp was born June 19, 1897 at Revere, North Dakota to the late John and Lena Knapp. He grew up in that community and attended rural school.
He was married to Nora Koloen at East Grand Forks, Minn., March 5, 1920. The couple farmed until 1963 when they retired and moved into Binford. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, Farmers Union, and Trinity Lutheran Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Manley (Florence) Suess, Sylmar, California; Mrs. Wallace (Blanche) Larson, Puyallup, Wash.; and Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Nelson, Westminster, California; two sons, Donald of Binford and Clifford of McVille; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Howard, Kirkland, Washington and Mrs. Jessie Slade, Mercer Island, Wash.; one brother, John C. Knapp, Pleasant Hill, California; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
