EAST PRAIRIE - Marilyn Joyce Collins, 65, died at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 22, 2006, in the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston.
Born Nov. 25, 1940, in Mississippi County, to Mildred V. Hanor Adkisson of East Prairie and the late Forrest Adkisson, she lived her entire life in East Prairie.
On Dec. 19, 1958, at East Prairie, she married Thomas Everett Collins who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Sheila Collins of East Prairie; and one granddaughter, Adrienne Collins of Cape Girardeau.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Collins on June 6, 2005.
Visitation is at 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Larry Smith and Bill Adkisson will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Bob Hanor, Dickie Hanor, Terry Hall, Bernard Baker, Joe Adkisson, Gary Adkisson, Delbert Wilson and Bruce Adkisson.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Paul Adkisson and Ralph Adkisson.
