Funeral services were conducted May 24, 1973 for Walter Webb of Cooter.

Born November 13, 1899 in Henderson, Tenn., Mr. Webb died May 21, 1973 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville.

He leaves his widow, Pearl; one daughter, Evelyn Webb of Maryland; one son, Waymon Webb of Memphis, and three sisters: Mary Barnett and Zelma Bishop of Steele, and Ruth Green of Indianapolis, Ind.

The services were in the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter with the rev. Joe Smith officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Doc Barger, Homer Wilson, Paulus Alexander, Gus Cooper, Carl Hamel, and Dale McClure.

German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
