Pauline Crews of Ponca City, Oklahoma, died Monday evening, March 31, 2014, in the Ponca City Medical Center at the age of 95 years.
Pauline Crews was born on April 21, 1918, in Vinita, Oklahoma, to Alonzo Oder and Maud Annalee (Campbell) Crews.
As a young girl she moved with her family to Blackwell where she attended Blackwell Public Schools.
Following her education she continued living in Blackwell until 1967 when she moved to Ponca City.
Following the death of her mother she entered Shawn Manor Nursing Home where she made her home the last twenty-four years.
She attended the Baptist Church and enjoyed playing bingo. She also loved to take rides in the area and enjoy the scenery with family.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Dempewolf of Ponca City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jack Crews; four sisters, Catherine Walker, Evelyn Abel, Marie Bruce and Rosalie Coley; and two half-brothers, Sherman and Edward Crews.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 4th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Rutherford of Bethesda Assembly officiating.
Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
