Wife of Everett E. Creek and daughter of Nettie Steel and Henry Smith Selman. She was the mother to Leroy Creek. She was a granddaughter of John Henry Selman who was infamous for killing John Wesley Hardin.

She died from complications associated with a miscarriage that had occurred six days earlier in Albany, Texas. She had developed an infection and was hospitalized in Breckinridge on September 12 and expired three days later.
