He was born Aug. 4, 1900, at Blandinsville, Ill. to Charles Wesley and Nettie White Hainline. He married Hazel Sallee in Macomb, Ill., Feb. 17, 1923.
Mr. Hainline retired after 44 years of service with the CB&Q Railroad. He was a member of the West Burlington Volunteer Fire Department for 28 years. He was a member of the West Burlington Christian Church and the Railroad Pensioners.
Surviving: His wife; two daughters, Kay Pilney and Betty Adams; sister Callie Sly; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A private family prayer service will be held at Lunning Chapel at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
