Loretta Esenath Nelson
March 2, 1913-Sept. 16, 2003
Services will be today for former Patterson resident Loretta Esenath Fisher Nelson, 90, who died a week ago at Covenant Village Care Center in Turlock.
A native of Ong, Neb., Mrs. Nelson had lived in Patterson from 1940 to 1997 and then moved to Turlock. She was a member of Patterson Covenant Church.
She is survived by her children. Elton Nelson of Turlock, Milan Nelson of Fresno and Darlene Oneill of San Carlos; brothers William Fisher and Victor Fisher, both of Nebraska; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Nelson, in 2002.
Today's funeral service will be at 10 a.m. at Patterson Covenant Church. Burial will follow at Patterson District Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Home Teen Ranch, P.O. Box 1101, Turlock 95381.
