I have placed my 5th great-grandmother in Cobbs Cemetery because she died in Chesterfield County in the year after her husband, my 5th great-grandfather. She was the daughter of John and Mary Bolling, who lived at Cobbs Plantation and the property was still occupied by the Bolling descendants at the time of her death. She was either visiting or living at Cobbs when she died.

Gravesite Details

Since the plantation was occupied by federal forces during the Civil War in 1864 and then razed as they departed, I feel that any marker she had would have been destroyed.
