Thomas Bolling Dandridge was the 10th child of Colonel William Alexander "Big Dover" Dandridge by his wife Anne Blair Bolling a descendant of Pocahontas the Indian Princess daughter of Chief Powhatan. Thomas Bolling Dandridge married Caroline Matilda Nichols 29 May 1819 @ Henry County, Virginia together they had 8 children, He took pride in being a descendant of Pocahontas "Rebecca" the Indian Princess daughter of Chief Powhatan as he named a few of his 8 children after them, Children as follows:
