C., and married July 10, 1838, at Collirene, Ala., James McQueen. "He was a villain," according to the characterization made of his by his brother-in-law, Jefferson Randolph Rives, in the latter's bible record of the family. Mrs. McQueen died in 1885, leaving issue:
Sallie McQueen, m. Eugene Gualden, her cousin of Old Town, Fla. She d. s. p. and is buried at Valdosta, Ga.
Clara McQueen, m. Thomas P. Chairs, of Cedar Keys, Florida
Ada McQueen, b Mch 1, 1851, at Collirene, Ala; m. December 23, 1874, at Old Town, Fla., William B. McIlwaine, and died at River Junction, Fla., in 1914.
