"Mrs. Sarah Markey, widow of Jacob Markey of Frankstown, died of dropsy at 1:10 this morning, at the home of her son-in-law, John W. Smith, 909 Fifth avenue, aged 84 years, 2 months and 4 days. She is survived by five children: Mrs. Mary C. Smith of this city, with whom she has made her home since last May, coming here from Frankstown; Christian, Daniel G. of Brush mountain; D.S. of Altoona, and Martin of Hannibal, Mo. She was a member of the Frankstown Lutheran church. The funeral will take place at 1 o'clock on Monday morning at which hour it will leave the house and proceed overland to Geeseytown where the interment will be made."
