MRS. BARBARA (SNOWBERGER) HAINLEY

Member of one of Morrisons cove's early pioneer families, died last evening at 6.30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Burget, at Curryville, death being attributed to a complication of ailments incident to advanced age. She was a daughter of Frederick and Susan Snowberger and was born in Taylor township on Oct. 26, 1851. She was united in marriage with Samuel N. Hainley at Martinsburg on Jan. 1, 1872. Mrs. Hainley was a member of the East Sharpsburg Reformed church for the past forty-three years. Surviving are two sons and four daughters, Jerry and Edward Hainley of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. William Burget, Mrs. Rebecca Lotz of Bellwood, Mrs. Levi Albright of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Blair Smaltz of Jamestown, N.Y., and twenty-three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the home of her daughter in Curryville.

HAINLEY--Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Snowberger Hainley will be conducted in the Reformed church at East Sharpsburg Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Albright Church of the Brethren cemetery south of Roaring Spring. Friends are being received at the home of the daughter, Mrs. William Burget at Curryville.
