Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, at the Otego Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Allen Wollenburg, pastor of the Penn Yan Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Bundy Cemetery, Otego.
Mr. Brown was born Oct. 23, 1877 in Wisconsin. He married Maude L. (sic) Lineaweaver on Jan. 1, 1907. Mrs. Brown died June 24, 1964. He resided in North Dakota and Wisconsin before moving to New York State in 1921. He was a Raleigh salesman for 30 years and a member of the Otego Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy I. Lawyer (sic), DeWitt, and two sons, Laverne M. Brown, Oneonta, and William A. Brown, Marysville, California.
Friends may call at their convenience after noon Tuesday at the Bailey Funeral Home, Otego. The family will be in attendance after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Otego Presbyterian Church.
