Margaret was born on September 17, 1915 in Clark County, Wisconsin to the late Perry Newton and Lucy (Wilder) Farmer. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. She retired in 1981 after 27 years from the University of Arizona. Margaret served as past-president of the Business Women Association. She loved listening to music and dancing, and playing cards and board games. She was a hard worker and provider to her family. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Hollis A. Bonnin, and Lincoln Winger; five brothers; three sisters; and three grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Lucy Bonnin and companion Bud Wells of Grandfield, Oklahoma, Louise Beauer and husband Ervin of Alma, Wisconsin, Arthur Bonnin and wife Kathy of Tucson, Arizona, and Lorraine Steinberger and husband Bernie of Cedar City, Utah; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Girling Hospice, 4210 Kell Blvd., Ste. 211Wichita Falls, TX 76309; or to the American Diabetes Assoc., 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, VA 22311.
