Merva E. Stanton, 91, Ash Grove, Mo., passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, in St. John’s Regional Health Center, Springfield, following a short illness. Merva was born near Ash Grove. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ash Grove Assembly of God Church. She was active in the Senior O.A.T.S. organization. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey; two sons Edward and Robert; and two brothers, Bill and Walter Baker. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Ursula Stanton, and Robert and his wife; 17 grandchildren, 15 great –grandchildren; two sisters, Deloris Hudgings, and Crystal Casteel.
Burial in Ash Grove cemetery.
