Ripley, NY - - Lulu Chase Grover, 99, a resident of Twinbrook Nursing Home, died Wednesday following an extended illness.
She was born in Ripley, NY, July 10, 1881, a daughter of the late George and Jennie Wallace Chase.
A resident of Ripley most of her life, she attended Ripley United Methodist Church and was a former member of Ripley Rebecca Lodge. She also was a member of Ripley Grange.
She was the widow of George Grover.
Survivors include a son, L. H. Grover of Boynton Beach, Fla., six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Matthews Funeral Home, Ripley, N.Y., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there Saturday at 11 a.m.
