Orrin Leigh Grover, Brigadier General, Retired, died at Patrick AFB Hospital. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church, Military Engineers and was active in the Brevard County Boy Scouts movement. He was a former member of the Indialantic Rotary Club. He was survived by his wife, a son and three daughters, his mother, a brother and a sister. (See obit for details.)

Then Colonel Orrin Grover lead the 24th Pursuit Group , opposite greatly superior numbers of enemy aircraft and performed important reconnaisance missions in the Philippines Dec 8 , 1941 to March 11th 1942 after the invasion of the Japanese.
