Alice Asher Becknell, 94 of Manchester passed away Wednesday, February 3rd 2016 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center.
Ms. Becknell is survived by her children James Rice Becknell of Madison Alabama, Dr. Charlie Becknell and wife Gerrie of Lexington and Ossie Kathleen Becknell of Manchester.
She is also survived by three grandchildren, Emily Morgan Thomas and her husband Ben of Winter Haven Florida, Alyce Elizabeth Becknell of Flowery Branch Georgia and Charlie Asher (Trapper) Becknell of Lexington.
Ms. Becknell is preceded in death by her husband Dr. James Larue Becknell and these brothers and sisters; Dewey Asher, Rice Asher, Ethel Asher Woods, Cassie Lewis, Willa Smith, Nancy Becknell and Mae Clarkston.
Funeral services for Ms. Alice Becknell will be held at 12 PM Saturday, Feburary 6th 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harry T. Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Manchester Memorial Gardens.
