Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early with the Rev. Stan Allcorn of Pioneer Baptist Church in Abilene officiating. Arrangements are by Heartland Funeral Services of Early.
Connie died peacefully at Hospice Austin's Christopher House. She was born Dec. 2, 1942, and raised in Brownwood. She graduated from University of North Texas and was an elementary school teacher in Dallas, Amarillo and Austin. She was a member of Tarrytown United Methodist Church in Austin.
Connie blessed this world with loving warmth, caring kindness and an unwavering faith in her God who she recognized, thanked and celebrated daily. A wonderful mother and steadfast friend to many, she touched the world in special ways through her magnificent joy, peace and humor. Her physical presence on this earth will be missed, but her spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Lee Allcorn and Mary Jo Coffey Allcorn.
Survivors include two loving sons, Matt Trietsch and Phil Trietsch and partner Michelle Brazel, all of Austin; a brother, Billy Jack Allcorn and wife Laurie of San Antonio; and many others.
