Daughter of B.F.Couch, and Ola Robinson. Husband G.C.Jenkins.
Mrs. Mary Couch Jenkins died at her home at 1237
King Street Monday morning. She had lived in Columbia for ten years.
Born in 1919, daughter of B. S. Couch and Mrs. Ola Robinson Couch of Lancaster, she was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p. m. at Dunbar Funeral Home by the Rev. Walter K. Beattie. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
The wife of G. C. Jenkins, she is also survived by a son, Charles J. Jenkins; her mother, Mrs. J. T. Downs; and the following brothers and sisters: G. E. Couch and Mrs. Ira Brasington of Heath Spring, D. E. Couch of Batesburg, M. S. Couch of Chancellor, Ala., Mrs. C. S. Blackmon of Manning, B. W. Couch of West Columbia, Mrs. R. A. Downs of Alexandria, Va., J. E. Couch of Fort Mill, Mrs. Lee Kendrick of Union, Sgt. P. B. Couch of the Army overseas, Mrs. Roy G. Jones of Alexandria City, Ala., and M. J. Couch of Charlotte.
