MRS. EMMA BREITHAUPT
At her home on North Genesee Street, last evening, occurred the death of Emma Sittig, widow of Julius E. Breithaupt. Death resulted from a stroke of apoplexy which she suffered last Sunday evening.
She was born in Albany, May 26, 1854, and was a daughter of Valentine Sittig. She had lived here practically all her life.
Twenty-seven years ago, she married Mr. Breithaupt.
She was a member of the Moravian Church.
Her survivors are: Flora, Mrs. William Gatley, Julius, Charles and Mary of Utica; three sisters, Mrs. Catharine Recknal of Long Branch, Mich.; Mrs. Sarah Weise of Watertown, Wis., Mrs. Amelia Roth of Utica; one brother, C. E. Sittig of this city. Utica Herald Dispatch; 1903
