Fred J. Breithaupt,229 N. Genesee St., died Thursday Aug. 21, 1941, in Faxton Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Utica, March 1, 1878, son of the late Julius and Emma Sittig Breithaupt, and spent his entire life here.
About 40 years ago he married Miss Amelia Brower.
He conducted a plumbing business and for some time was a plumbing inspector for the city of Utica. He was active in Masonry and was a member of the Faxton Lodge, Oneida Chapter 157, Utica Commandery 3 and Ziyara Temple, and of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
He leaves his wife and two sons, Frederick C. and Alton B. Breithaupt.
A Masonic service will be conducted at 3 in New Forest Hill Cemetery. Utica Daily Press, Friday, August 22, 1941
