Mrs. Alice Avakian Basmajian, age 88, wife of the late Charles Basmajian of Marcy, died Saturday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Basmajian has lived in the United States since 1913. In 1913 in Utica she was married to Mr. Basmajian, who died in 1969.
Mrs. Basmajian is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Walter ( Helen) Hotaling, Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Taylor and Mrs. Raymond (Grace) Caldwell all of Marcy, NY; three sons, Arthur and John Basmajian of Marcy, NY and Robert Basmajian of Canada, BC; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
