Hirfa was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Robert B and Corrine Stone Kennedy.She had been a member of Glad Tidings Assembly Church and most recently attended First Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She was a homemaker devoted to her children and her family.
She was the married to the late Billy Walker who passed away in 2004.
She is preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Coward and Vivian Hanna and brothers, Charles, Paul, Dorran, James C. and James G. Kennedy.
