Charles E. Strouss
Of Horton, passed away March 17, 2014 age 86. Survived by 5 children, Marvin (Patricia) Strouss, Sandra Strouss, Dan (Wanda) Strouss, Susan (Doug) Ellsworth and Edward (Melinda) Strouss, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Jean (George) Donoho, Betty (Dale) Vogel and Charlotte Brown. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Lusina. Charles was the founder of Strouss Construction Co. 66 years ago. He was an accomplished musician, loved to hunt and fish and was a member of Cornerstone Apostolic Church. Funeral services will be held at Westwood United Pentecostal Church, 1801 Cortland Blvd. Thursday March 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with his grandsons Pastors Aaron Strouss and Daniel Strouss officiating. Burial Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation at the church Wednesday 5-8 P.M. and Thursday 10:00 A.M until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cornerstone Apostolic Church.
