Fred was born March 28, 1931 in Dallas City, IL. He was living in Valparaiso, Florida at the time of his death.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Hap, and Larry; two sisters, Mary Ellen West and Lois Vernile Olchawa; and one son, Lonnie Dean Putney. He is survived by Donna, his wife of 63 years; three children; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and two brothers.
Fred retired from Keystone Steel and Wire Company.
