Zadie Quillen Dies At 95
Mrs. Zadie Quillen, 95, died of infirmities early yesterday at the Orchards Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since October, 1963. She had been ill for several months.
She was the widow of Frank Quillen, north central Idaho rancher and construction worker. They were married Oct. 4, 1894, at Moscow. He died in 1959.
She was born Feb. 28, 1875, at Garden Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew S. Parkins. She moved to Washington with her family in 1881.
She and her husband lived at Lapwai, Culdesac, Craigmont and Grangeville before moving to Lewiston.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edith Ayers, Clarkston, and Mrs. Mabel Holliday, Lewiston.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home.
