Frank HARDESTY was born April 5, 1860 near Robinson, Jackson Township, Greene County, Indiana, the son of Jefferson and Jane (MANSFIELD) HARDESTY. Frank was married December 24, 1878 in Greene County to Arzilla/Zilla COOPER. Zilla was born March 10, 1859 in Greene Co., IN the daughter of John and Mariah (Meeks) Cooper.

Frank died December 15, 1917 on the farm where he was born at the age of 57 Years 8 Months and 10 days. Buried at Ashcraft Chapel Cemetery.

Arzilla married 2nd on June 14, 1920 in Bloomfield, Greene Co., IN to Solomon O. Butler b. Aug. 30, 1855 in KY, son of James and Mary A. (Wells) Butler.

Zilla died in 1946, buried at Ashcraft Chapel Cemetery.
